TY Weaver Motorcycle Accident – The owner of the famed 3 Daughters Brewery in St. Petersburg, Florida, Mike Harting, disclosed to the Tampa Bay Times that the deadly car accident that took place early on Thursday morning on the Sunshine Skyway bridge took the life of the chief brewer at the brewery.
The identification of the motorcyclist who was injured in the collision that took place in the northbound lanes of the Florida Turnpike at approximately 9:15 in the morning has not been made public by the Florida Highway Patrol. The rider on the motorcycle was fifty years old.
In contrast, Harting asserted that Ty Weaver was the one who did it. “Ty was a brilliant individual whose talent, passion, and love for the art of brewing were unrivaled,” Harting said in a statement that was provided to the Times. His loved ones, together with his companions and the others who lived in the neighborhood around 3 Daughters, will grievously miss him.
During this trying time, we respectfully ask that his family be given the space and time they need to grieve in private. The Highway Patrol stated in a press release that the accident took place as a result of the driver of an SUV slowing down for traffic on the bridge and being struck from behind by a motorcyclist who “separated from the motorcycle” before being “overrun” by a tractor-trailer. This information was provided by the Highway Patrol.
The troopers stated that the event took place when the motorcyclist “detached from the motorcycle” and was “overrun” by the tractor-trailer. According to the troopers, neither the driver of the SUV, a woman from Wimauma who was 55 years old, nor the driver of the tractor-trailer, a male from Columbus, Florida, who was 57 years old, had any injuries as a consequence of the incident.
The Florida Highway Patrol did not release the names of the people who had been killed in the crash either.
