Tim Casey Obituary, Cause Of Death – Tim Casey, a resident formerly of Lincoln and Waltham, passed away on Saturday, March 4, 2023, at the Lahey Hospital and Medical Center. He was 84. Edward T. Casey, Jr. was born in Waltham on January 24, 1939. He was the son of the late Edward T. “Ted” Casey and Ruth K. (Gallagher) Casey. Edward T. Casey, Sr. passed away in the previous year.
Tim was Vice President of Mass. Hardware on High Street in Waltham for the majority of his career, which he spent working in the hardware industry. After reaching the age of retirement in 1999, he then took advantage of a new opportunity to work at the Concord Country Club for more than twenty years in a variety of capacities.
He attended Waltham High School and graduated with the class of 1956. He was born and raised in Waltham. Tim, as he was affectionately known to his family and friends, served his country with distinction in the United States Marine Corps. On October 7, 1961, he wed Ann M. Ryan, who was born and raised in Waltham, in the Saint Mary’s Church. Residents of Waltham Tim and his sons eventually built a house in Lincoln in 1980 with the assistance of their father. They remained residents there until the year 2022.
