In 1946, on their very first date together, they decided to get engaged. They exchanged vows in June of that year, and they went on to celebrate 59 years of love together before she passed away in December of 2005 as a result of Alzheimer’s illness.
Throughout his working life, Frank had positions with the United States Postal Service in Wichita, Dallas, and eventually Minneapolis. He was with the USPS for a total of 30 years. His love for the Lord was demonstrated in a variety of ways, the most notable of which was his attendance at daily Mass and his recitation of the rosary.
