Steve Turner Obituary, Death Cause – Steve Turner, age 72, a resident of Hopkinsville, Kentucky, passed away as a result of natural causes on Saturday, March 11, 2023, at Bradford Heights Nursing and Rehab. He was a resident of the state of Kentucky. Funeral services will be held in the Maddux-Fuqua-Hinton Funeral Home on Thursday, March 16, 2023 at one o’clock in the afternoon. Immediate interment will take place at Rosedale Cemetery after the funeral home service concludes.
On Thursday, March 16, 2023, the Maddux-Fuqua-Hinton Funeral Home will be open for visitors beginning at 10:00 AM and continuing until 1:00 PM. The viewing will be held in the chapel. The 16th of March is the day that this event will take place. The funeral home of Maddux-Fuqua-Hinton has been given the obligation of directing the services that are associated with the funeral by the family. The family has entrusted this responsibility to the care of the funeral home.
On February 18, 1951, Mr. Turner was welcomed into the world in Hopkinsville, Kentucky, by his parents, who went by the names George Douglas Turner and Irene Griffin Turner. Mr. Turner is commonly referred to as “Turner.” Steve was a Certified Public Accountant who worked on his own and regularly attended the services held at the Kelly Baptist Church. In addition to that, he was a participant in the religious gathering of the community.
His wife of 47 years, Doris Turner, of Hopkinsville, Kentucky, is among the surviving members of the Turner family. Also surviving are his son, Wade Turner and his wife Casey of Hopkinsville; his daughter, Jill Slaughter and her husband Jeff of Pembroke, Kentucky; his brothers, Doug Turner of Clarksville, Tennessee, and Glenn Turner of Johnson City, Tennessee; his sisters, Judy Hamby of Gulf Shores, Alabama, and Peggy Vass of Clarksville, Tennessee; and four
