A recent crime and damage spree throughout numerous municipalities in Cumberland County is thought to have involved several gangs of kids.
According to the Cumberland County Sheriff’s Office, authorities have investigated more than 30 instances of vandalism to mailboxes and signage since October in Gray, New Gloucester, North Yarmouth, and Pownal.
The sheriff’s office has more information about potential suspects now than it had a few days ago.
The sheriff’s office thinks there are several groups of kids and teenagers who have been driving around and haphazardly stealing and vandalizing different things.
None of the potential suspects have been detained as this point, but the sheriff’s office announced that numerous kids and teenagers will face charges for a number of offenses.
