Sean Cunningham Obituary, Cause Of Death – Our dearly loved son Sean Patrick Cunningham, who was 34 years old at the time of his death, passed away unexpectedly on September 27, 2021. Sean J. Cunningham is the offspring of Patrick J. Cunningham and Kathleen Breaux Cunningham. He was born on September 23, 1987 in Lafayette, Louisiana. Sean never met a stranger.
He was one of the kindest and most likable people you could ever hope to come across in your life. You couldn’t go anywhere in the world without running into someone who knew Sean. It wasn’t uncommon for strangers to approach him and offer their greetings. He was friendly and never hesitated to strike up conversations with strangers by going up to them and introducing himself. It was a remarkable event that I got to experience on multiple occasions.
Sean attended Lafayette High School and was a member of the school’s Mighty Lion Marching Band before he graduated. He was exceptionally talented in the field of music, particularly on the piano and drums. Nearly every day, he felt compelled to share recently discovered videos on You Tube of music that held a great deal of significance for him. He focused the majority of his efforts on developing his passion for music as a means to achieve his lofty goals.
He was passionate about a variety of things, such as baseball, specifically the Boston Red Sox, hockey played by the Black Hawks, and soccer played by Arsenal Football Club. He was also an avid history fan, particularly of the Second World War. He watched a lot of documentaries throughout his life. Harlan Cohen was one of Sean’s favorite authors to read. In addition to that, he was a fierce rival in the game of trivia.
