On Monday, the authorities established that the person who had passed away was a man by the name of Vidyut Nautiyal who was 44 years old and lived in the city of San Jose.
On Sunday evening, a senior member of the organization provided confirmation that Nautiyal was, in fact, participating in a hike that had been prearranged with a troop of Boy Scouts. According to the accounts, the mom and her son, who was 17 years old at the time, were trekking together when the tragedy occurred.
