Samantha Salyers Obituary, Cause Of Death – Samantha Lynn “Sam” Salyers, 32, was found dead in Hicksville, Ohio on February 27th, 2023. Samantha Lynn “Sam” Salyers was a resident of the Ohio town of Evansport at the time of her death. The news that Samantha Lynn “Sam” Salyers had died was shocking and tragic. Everyone was taken aback by her sudden departure.
She entered the world on June 1, 1990, in the city of Bryan, Ohio, the first child of Thomas and Julie (Johnson) Salyers. Thomas and Julie (Johnson) Salyers first crossed paths in Bryan. Sam was a licensed nursing assistant at an institution in the Ohio city of Edgerton known as the Parkview Care Center in Edgerton.
Sam was in charge of the operation there. She was devoted to her family and made it a point to attend all of her sons’ sporting events, cherishing the time she had to spend with them. She was always there to support them and encourage them. She also participated in community life by giving her time to the schools where her kids were enrolled.
Her passions lay in exploring the world, experiencing new things, being in nature, and cheering on her nieces and nephews at their different athletic competitions. Sam was loved and cared for by many, but her seemingly unending group of devoted friends will miss her the most. Sam will live on in our hearts forever in a very special way.
Sam is survived by her parents, Thomas and Julie Salyers, of Evansport; her sons, Kogan Estel and Lenox DeMoulin, also of Evansport; her siblings, Jennifer (Shawn) Wickerham of Stryker, Michael (Megan Sell) Salyers of Ney, and Patience Wagner of Evansport; her paternal grandmother, Ruth Gideon of Evansport, and maternal grandmother, Leona Salyers of Continental; her best friend, James Hut.
