Roy Yamada Obituary, Cause Of Death – The devastating news that our good friend and Medical Director of the previous 21 years, Dr. Roy Yamada, had died away this morning brought a tremendous amount of sorrow to each and every one of us. We regard ourselves among the luckiest to have been one of the first fire departments in Dr. Yamada’s network to function under his medical guidance.
We were one of the first fire departments in Dr. Yamada’s network to function under his medical direction. As he started his network, we were one of the first divisions to start operating. It was a privilege to work at the forefront of the emergency medical services sector alongside him because he was truly one of a kind, and we made significant advancements together.
Working at the forefront with him was an honor. In our minds, he will always be remembered for his great enthusiasm for emergency medical services (EMS), as well as his never-ending exhortations to have compassion for other people and do everything in one’s power to alleviate the pain of others. Take a deep breath and try to relax.
