Robert Fley Obituary, Cause Of Death – On December 8th, Robert M. Flay, who had lived in Bern Township all of his life and had reached the age of 78 at the time of his passing, died away peacefully in the confines of his own house. He was able to pass away without ever having to endure any discomfort or agony.
Mr. Flay was born and reared in Reading, which is also his current place of residence. He is a native of this city. Before Robert was born in Reading on June 28, 1935, both of his parents, Martha (Widmyer) Flay and Joseph Flay, had passed away. Robert was their only child.
Their sole kid was a boy named Robert. Robert Flay was reared by Joseph and Martha Flay as if he were their own son. Their son’s name was Robert. At one point in time, both he and Jeanne H. Leck were married to the people who would become their respective spouses. Miriam R. (Rudy) Flay, Mr. Flay’s first wife, passed away in the month of March in the year 2023. Miriam R. Flay was also known as Rudy. It was she who was the first customer to enter the eatery.
Over the better part of forty years that he spent working at the Reading Eagle Corporation in Reading, Pennsylvania, he was in charge of making plates for the press at that location. During that time, he was also responsible for working there. He earned the respect of his peers and the nation throughout his service as a soldier in the United States Army.
