Robert Boy Obituary, Cause Of Death – We would like to take this time to congratulate Robert Boyd for his service as a USGHA trustee and recognize him for his efforts here today. He has been a tremendous asset to this organization. We are all shocked and saddened to tell you that Bob passed away yesterday due to the unexpected nature of his health, and we are all sorry to have to share this news with you.
That rips a gaping hole through each and every one of our hearts of unimaginable proportions. Since 1995, he has been a contributing member of our organization, which he joined the year before for the purpose of becoming more involved. In addition to being a dependable docent at our schoolhouse, he also played the role of Mr. John D. White, US Grant’s instructor.
Mr. White was the individual who Mr. Grant received his education from. Bob, you will be missed by all of us. We are grateful to you for the years of effort that you have put into presenting the narrative of the U.S. Grant to those who are visiting our city as well as people who reside here. Not only do we appreciate the work that you have done, but we also appreciate the time that you have taken to do it.
