Richard Wetterholm Obituary, Caused Of Death – Two individuals lost their lives as a result of a rollover accident that took place early on Thursday morning in the town of Barrington. The collision, which only involved one automobile, took occurred on the 600 block of South Hough Street, which is situated just to the south of the central business district of the village.
On Thursday night, the office of the Cook County medical examiner announced the identities of the fatalities. Richard A. Wetterholm, 85, of Wheeling, and Mary A. Gulbranson, 78, of Barrington were named as the victims. Both of those who passed away were natives of Barrington.
According to Dave Dorn, the Chief of Police for the town of Barrington, officers were sent to the site at 10:36 in the morning after a local citizen who had heard about the collision had decided to contact for assistance. According to him, the vehicle, a Toyota Camry, was heading in the direction of the north on Hough Street when it veered off the road and ended up on the opposite side of the road near Sturtz Street.
Hough Street was closed to traffic between Monument Avenue and the point where it splits off onto Barrington Road as emergency crews worked in the vicinity. This section of Hough Street is located between the two major roads. According to the officials, the access to the road was restored sometime during the afternoon on Thursday.
