Richard Danner Obituary, Death Cause – Richard J. “Rich” Danner, who was 50 years old at the time of his death, passed away on Monday, March 13, 2023 at Allegheny General Hospital with his wife by his side. Mr. Danner lived in Bairdford, which is a community that is found in West Deer Township. He was the son of Richard Danner, who had previously lived in Hampton, and Linda M. (Geier) Danner, who was living in Pittsburgh at the time of his birth on August 15, 1972. Richard Danner had previously passed away.
Rich spent his childhood in Hampton, and he graduated from Hampton High School in the year 1990. Rich received his high school diploma from that institution. He worked as a mechanic at a number of different car dealerships, the most recent of which was Jim Shorkey Auto Group in North Hills.
He also worked at a few other dealerships. For more than 20 years, Rich worked as a volunteer firefighter for the West Deer Volunteer Fire Department #2, the Richland Volunteer Fire Department, and the North Hampton Volunteer Fire Department. Rich enjoyed bowling and playing video games, but he also enjoyed tinkering in his garage and making things, including his own kitchen cabinets.
He was a member of the Owl’s Club in Russellton. His wife of 18 years, Tonya L. (Smulick) Danner, his dog Rylie, his mother, Linda M. (Geier) Danner of Hampton, his brother Daniel (Deanene) Danner of Curtisville, his niece Sarah Danner, and his nephew Ethan Danner are among his survivors. In addition to the man who was his biological father, he was preceded in death by an infant brother whose name was Johathan Danner.
The Owl’s Club in Russellton will host a memorial service for Rich this coming Saturday, March 18, 2023, from one to four in the afternoon. The family would like to extend an invitation to all of his acquaintances and relations to be present at the event.
