Raleigh Shooting – The information that was provided by the local police indicates that there was a shooting that took place in Raleigh, and as a consequence of the incident, two people were hurt as a result of the incident.
Both the incident with the gunshot and the crash that took place on westbound I-440 at Capitol Boulevard are connected to one another, according to the information that was provided by the Raleigh police department.
The incident occurred on Thursday morning, just a few minutes before six o’clock, near to the intersection where Wake Forest Road and Hodges Street meet. It was in this general area.
A man who was questioned by CBS 17 indicated that just prior to the hour of six in the morning, he heard at least ten gunshots coupled with the sound of tires squealing. This information was provided by the individual who was interviewed. An interview was conducted, in which this man’s account was given.
One of the victims reportedly sustained injuries that were so severe that they constituted a threat to their life, whilst the other victim reportedly sustained injuries that were not even close to being as bad as the first victim’s injuries, as stated in the report that was filed by the police. Both of the victims were transported from the scene of the accident by ambulance to one of the area’s hospitals for medical attention.
The investigation has not been wrapped up as of yet, and the report from the police indicates that there is currently no information available on a person who is believed to be responsible for the crime.
