Pat Brown Obituary, Death Cause – Patrick C. Brown, 78, of North Bergen, New Jersey, passed away on Friday, March 10, 2023, at Englewood Hospital. It is with deep regret and sadness that we share this news. The 11th of August, 1944 found Josephine Natale and William Smith welcoming their son Patrick into the world in the Bronx, New York. After living in West New York for a while, he ultimately settled in North Bergen, where he was known throughout the area simply as “Mr. Brown.”
We would like to express my most sincere sympathies to both the Brown family and all of Pat Brown’s other friends and loved ones. For decades, he was known to all of the children in North Bergen as Mr. Brown. He had a positive impact on the lives of a great number of people and was adored by everyone he met. The obituary and funeral arrangements are included below. At the Vainieri Funeral Home on Wednesday, March 15, visitors will be able to pay their respects to Mr. Brown from 2:00 pm to 7:00 pm. The cremation will be carried out in a solemn and private ceremony for the family.
He was a consistent figure in the North Bergen school district, the first person to meet you with a friendly smile at the North Bergen Rec Center, and he was always willing to help out behind the grill at the North Bergen Little League field. Mr. Brown was a remarkable example of what it is to be a human being, and he would have done everything to help you. He had a kind heart and was generous to all of the students who attended Horace Mann and Lincoln School. He cherished his family and friends and had a special place in his heart for Christmas. The fact that Mr. Brown’s two sons eventually became police officers and began serving the community that he loved so deeply for brought him the greatest delight.
Mr. Brown is survived by his wife, Roseann Brown, his children Billy and Danny, his granddaughters Liliana and Melania, his daughter in law Christina, his brother Billy and Barbara, as well as a number of nieces and nephews. His mother, Josephine, as well as his sister, Carol, passed away before he did. Mr. Brown was a devoted family man who worked very hard. He was a proud father and grandfather, as well as a loving husband and son. If you were raised in North Bergen, chances are good that the name “Mr. Brown” was familiar to you.
