Marie O’Donnell Obituary, Cause Of Death – The passing of Marie O’Donnell (Owenie Ban) took place in her residence, which is located at Owenie’s Pub on Main Street in Dungloe. Owenie Ban, her husband, and their daughter Nancy came before her death. Her sons Eugene (Dungloe) and Barry (Caroline), both of Dublin.
As well as her daughters Mary Charlton (Colin) and Ellen Scally (Pat), both of Belfast, as well as her grandchildren and extended family will miss her terribly. On Thursday, March 9th, her remains will lie in repose at McGlynn’s Funeral Home in Dungloe from 3 pm until the Rosary at 8 pm.
After the rosary, her remains will then be moved to her residence. Remains will be on view at her residence on Friday from 2:00 PM until the time of the Rosary at 8:00 PM. On Saturday, the funeral mass will be held in St. Crona’s Church in Dungloe at 11 am, and then the interment will take place on Aranmore Island.
