Mackenzie Carpenter Obituary, Cause Of Death – A female passenger was reportedly killed in a car accident that took place on the Clark Memorial Bridge on Saturday afternoon, as stated by the Louisville Metro Police Department. Officers from the First Division of the Los Angeles Police Department responded to a call about a vehicle that had crashed on the southbound lanes of the bridge at approximately 2:45 in the afternoon.
Mackenzie Carpenter, who was 21 years old at the time, was a passenger in the vehicle when it became involved in an accident. As a result of the collision, she sustained injuries that proved fatal, and she was pronounced dead at the scene of the collision. The man who was driving was transported to the University of Louisville Hospital with injuries that did not appear to be life-threatening, according to the police.
The call described the incident as having occurred on the bridge. After arriving on the scene, the law enforcement officers found that the vehicle had collided with a steel beam on the bridge after the driver had lost control of the vehicle for reasons that are currently unknown.
The information that was provided by the Indiana Department of Transportation indicated that the collision was responsible for blocking all of the lanes of the bridge, which is also known as the Second Street Bridge. It seems as though all of the lanes on the bridge are now open for vehicular traffic.
