On April 26, 1937, Ken Kunzman came into the world in Bayonne, New Jersey. His parents were Alfred and Margaret (Beirne) Kunzman.
St. Peter’s Prep was where Ken began his formal schooling, and he earned his diploma there in 1954. After that, he continued his education at the College of the Holy Cross, where he was a member of the varsity basketball team during his time there.
After that, Ken received his legal education at Fordham. After receiving his law degree from Fordham University in 1961, he served as a legal clerk for the Honorable Gerald T. Foley of the New Jersey Superior Court, Appellate Division for a period of one year. When Ken answered the call to serve his country as a Captain in the United States Air Force from 1962 through 1965, he made a detour in the course of his law career.
After completing his military service, he immediately went back to work on what would become a highly successful legal career. Shortly after beginning his employment at Connell Foley LLP, Ken was promoted to the position of partner, which he maintained up until the day he passed away 55 years later.
Ken was very passionate about the legal system, and he was especially proud of the fact that he had been given the Thomas More Award for Integrity in the Legal System.
