Karen Flynn Obituary, Death Cause – I am sorry to inform you of the passing of Karen Hobert Flynn, who was President of Common Cause for a number of years. Her passing comes as a shock to me. It is with a heavy heart that I have to do what needs to be done.
Her funeral was yesterday, and my thoughts are with you during this difficult time. Please accept my condolences. When she passed away, it had been exactly one week to the day before yesterday. She was a bold and relentless advocate for democratic ideas in the United States, and Karen’s passion to serving the greater good remained unwavering throughout her life.
