Josiah Fletcher Obituary Cause Of Death – An event that took place this morning in Cherokee County, Kansas, resulted in the death of a student who attended Pittsburg High School. Kansas was the state that played host to the tragic event.
Josiah Le Fletcher, 18, from Pittsburg was the person who was unfortunate enough to lose their life as a result of the collision between two vehicles. He was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident. This morning, Kelynn Heardt, the Principal of PHS, delivered a letter to families informing them of a terrible accident and letting them know that additional counselors and Student Support workers are available for their children.
The letter also informed the families that their children are able to receive support from additional counselors and workers. In addition, the letter reminded the families that their children now have access to an increased number of counselors and staff who provide student support.
An accident occurred on Kansas Highway 171 close to where NE 90th Street is located this morning, around 7:48. The incident occurred on March 2. Fletcher was traveling east on K171 when he made the decision to turn around and was struck by a semi as he was in the process of making the maneuver, as stated by the Kansas State Highway Patrol (KSHP).
