She was 63 years old at the time of her passing. On June 1st, 1959, she was born to her parents, Thomas Gray and Elizabeth Gray, who are no longer with us. Her parents have since passed away.
Janet believed that the greatest delight that life has to offer was the opportunity to serve others by being there for them and giving to them. She spent a number of years working as a teacher at Monaca Junior High School, where she taught children English and Literature and encouraged them to develop a passion for reading as part of the process.
During this time, she also worked as a teacher at Monaca Elementary School. In her senior years, Janet founded a philanthropic group in her neighborhood known as “We Choose Joy.” A club whose primary objective was to raise funds for a variety of charity organizations in the local community, such as the Women’s Shelter and the Humane Society, amongst others.
In addition to that, she offered her time frequently at The Caring Place, which is a center that provides aid to young people who are going through the process of grieving after a loved one has passed away. Janet was a wonderful person who had a healthy curiosity for life and was always up for an adventure. She made regular trips across the country in order to be with the people who were important to her in their respective locations.
In addition to that, she enjoys wine, true crime documentaries, and literary mysteries. She has had a lifelong obsession with Lucille Ball, as well as Hollywood films in general. She valued the time she got to spend with her loyal friends and family the most highly of anything else in the world.
