In addition to that, there was a side of them that possessed an extraordinary amount of compassion and consideration. If Iris had a bag of sweets, you can be sure that she would give some to everyone of the other persons in the room without fail.
Iris had an incredible capacity to read people’s feelings, and she would constantly ask how you were doing and what the issue was. Her ability to read people’s emotions was one of her many talents. Even though she regularly referred to us by our surnames or a moniker she had bestowed upon us, Iris never once forgot anyone’s first name.
