Frank Larkin Obituary, Cause Of Death – On Sunday, we received the terrible news that honorary member and former president Frank Larkin had passed away. His passing left us with a sense of loss. The information was conveyed to us during the course of the weekend. Frank, who had been a member of the club for close to 30 years, served with dignity and distinction in various roles, including as president in 2004.
He also served with distinction in many other capacities. Moreover, an outstanding performer when it comes to golf. In 2010, Frank was on the rink that won the Greenock and District senior fours championship, and he was a member of that winning rink. Because of all of the effort and commitment that Frank has shown toward Rankin Park over the years, he was recently given the pleasure of being inducted into the honorary society.
This honor comes as a result of the recognition that he has received for his efforts. During this trying time, our thoughts and prayers are with Frank’s family and friends, since they were an excellent part of our team and a close friend to everyone of us.
