Ernald Brooks Obituary, Cause Of Death – We regret to inform you that Ernald Brooks, who held the position of first tenor, passed away recently. It is with a sad heart that we have to share this news with you. He had been dealing with his illness for some time. The other members of the choir affectionately referred to him as “Ernie,” and in their opinions, he embodied all of the qualities that should be present in a capable chorister.
Because he never missed a rehearsal or a performance with the group, everyone in the choir affectionately referred to him as “Mr. 100%.” This moniker came about as a result of the fact that he never missed a performance with the group. In their past life, he had a job as a carpenter, which forced him to frequently travel to a variety of locations throughout the world.
Yet, in the year 1999, when he had reached the age of retirement, he joined the Treorchy Male Chorus. In the year 2020, the previous Chairman of the chorus, Gareth Evans, recognized him for the 21 years of dedicated and committed service he had provided to the choir by bestowing upon him the honor of Life Membership in the chorus. This honor was bestowed upon him in recognition of the fact that he had previously held the position of Chairman of the chorus.
