After receiving reports of a fire that was well under way at a residence located on South Lake Street in the neighborhood of Spring Valley at approximately four in the morning on Saturday, a number of fire departments responded to the location after being notified of the blaze.
It was reported that several people were trapped inside the residence when the fire units arrived, but a significant portion of the building had already been consumed by the growing fire when they arrived, which prevented them from gaining access to the residence.
