Dr. Babette Protz Obituary, Cause Of Death – In memoriam: Dr. Babette Protz served as a coordinator for the Associate Degree Assessment Program in addition to her roles as an instructor of Criminal Justice and Criminology. Today, we honor the life of a colleague who was full of life but who has since passed away. On March 2, 2023, a Thursday, Dr. Protz passed away after a long battle with cancer. Throughout the years,
she was responsible for instilling in a great number of individuals a passion for education, an appreciation for experiences that extended beyond the confines of the classroom, and a smile. Her pupils liked her witty personality and her contagious enthusiasm for the subject she taught. Our sincerest condolences go out to her children, her spouse, and all of her other close family members and friends. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all during this difficult time.
A devoted and passionate educator who loved her students, a wonderful colleague and friend who will be sorely missed, a fireball of a human being who will be sorely missed. These are just some of the things that come to mind when I think of this person. Her spirit will live on in the hearts and memories of everyone who knew and loved her for as long as they live. I pray that the memories of her endure for all time.
That is something that I simply cannot agree with. In every respect, she exemplified excellence as a teacher. The classes were difficult, and the take-home exams were even more difficult than those in the classroom. I will always remember her for the role of educator that she played in my life. She cared deeply about each and every one of her students as if they were her own children.
