Dr. Anil Kapoor Obituary, Cause Of Death – Anil Kapoor was a devoted cancer specialist who worked as a surgeon, researcher, and lecturer. His specialty was kidney cancer. In addition to that, he held the position of Board Vice Chair of Kidney Cancer Canada.
Kidney Cancer Canada wishes to extend its deepest condolences to Dr. Anil Kapoor’s family as well as his many friends and colleagues on the occasion of his demise. His patients, coworkers, and the entire kidney cancer community in Canada and throughout the world will all feel a profound sense of loss at the news of his demise.
The Kidney Cancer Research Network of Canada (KCRNC) and Kidney Cancer Canada will also extend their condolences. Dr. Kapoor was an ardent supporter of kidney cancer patients and their caregivers, as well as the inclusion of patients’ and caregivers’ voices in the process of shared decision-making. In addition, he advocated for the inclusion of patients and caregivers’ voices in research studies.
He was deeply dedicated to the research and development of innovative treatments and care alternatives for patients who were afflicted with kidney cancer and other forms of genitourinary cancer. In addition to this, he had a tremendous interest in advancing the diagnosis, treatment, and care of kidney cancer.
He was a pioneer in this field. The fact that Dr. Kapoor has been a friend to and a supporter of our organization over the course of the past few years is something for which we are tremendously grateful. It has been great having him here with us, and we are going to miss that.
