The first responders to the accident observed the child lying in the road as soon as they got at the scene, and they rushed to provide assistance to the child without delay. It was discovered that he had been shot multiple times, and the attending physician pronounced him deceased at the site of the crime.
However, the shooting did take place after students had been dismissed from school, and school buses were present in the area where the fatal shooting took place.
