Christopher Locher Obituary, Cause Of Death – Christopher M. Locher, 42 years old and a resident of Gerald, passed away on March 6, 2023 with family and friends at his side. On August 10, 1980, in the city of Creve Coeur, Chris Locher, the son of Elmer Locher and Barb Locher, née LaBoube, was born.
He attended both St. Francis Borgia High School and the University of Missouri-Rolla in order to complete his studies. At the St. Francis Borgia Church on January 3, 2009, he and Shari Wellenkamp exchanged vows and became husband and wife. Chris possessed a genuine enthusiasm for life and had the mindset of a child at all times. He had a deep affection for the neighborhood in which he had grown up and was firmly committed to making it an even better place for future generations.
Chris worked at KJ Unnerstall construction for sixteen years, rising through the ranks to become Vice President during his tenure there. He took a lot of pride in the fact that his work helped make the neighborhood a better and safer environment.
Chris spent his spare time attending auctions, cheering on his nieces and nephews at their athletic events, and working at the antique company that he and his wife founded out of love. Bushel and a Peck.
His maternal grandparents, Harvey and Theresa LaBoube, and his paternal grandparents, Elmer and Shirley Locher, as well as his mother-in-law, Linda Wellenkamp, all passed away before Chris.
