In her email, Sirna drew attention to the lightning-fast pace at which word of the catastrophe was spreading throughout the people who make up our community. “When we have to say goodbye to one of our students because we are going to miss them, it is difficult to put into words how sad the experience is for us.
We would like the family of the student to know that they are in our thoughts and that we are sending our condolences to them during this difficult time. As soon as we are in a position to release any information, we will make certain that it is conveyed to both our families and the total number of students enrolled in the school.”
Although the student who is the subject of the investigation has not been named, the school has released a statement to the public in which it announces the availability of additional counseling alternatives for both students and staff members. According to what Sirna has stated, the administrators at RBHS will provide additional information as soon as it is made available to them.
