Carter possessed a hilarious sense of humor and derived great pleasure from making other people laugh. He had a compassionate nature and provided unwavering support to the people he held dear. Carter found volunteering to help students with disabilities to be a rewarding experience throughout his time in middle school. Spending time with his loved ones, including family and friends, was the man’s top priority in life.
During interactions with his relatives, Carter would invariably inquire, “can we go to Dairy Queen after this?” He found solace in listening to music, and Carter always had a soft spot in his heart for the critters that lived in the family home.
He is survived by his parents, Joshua Helms and Jessica Tenor; two siblings, Emma (Raymond) Cruz and Robin Welter; maternal grandparents, Chuck and Debbie Tenor; paternal grandparents, Ray and Paula Helms; and one niece, Harper Cruz. He was born to Joshua Helms and Jessica Tenor. His paternal grandparents were Ray and Paula Helms.
