The dying of Bruce Franson was a calm and peaceful occurrence, and he was accompanied by his loving family as he passed away. God rest your soul Bruce William was an expert in a wide variety of abilities and a handyman around the house. In addition to the magnificent retirement log home he built in Kingston,
which is also where he was born and raised, he built the Bruce family home at Gondola Point. Since his “retirement” roughly 30 years ago, Bill has been able to keep up a very active lifestyle thanks to the fact that many of his Kingston neighbors consider him to be the “go-to guy” when they need assistance with any number of jobs. This has allowed Bill to maintain a very healthy and fulfilling lifestyle despite his “retirement.” In the past, Bill was active in a wide range of organizations,
some of which include the New Brunswick Lighthouse Society, the Hampton Hoedowners Square Dancing Club, and Scouting Canada, where he served as a Scout Leader. Bill was also a member of the Hampton Hoedowners Square Dancing Club. He was the type of person that took an interest in things like family history and genealogical research. He had been on a large number of bus tours and square dancing conventions in the past because he
had a strong interest in experiencing new things and had a penchant for excitement. He looked forward to the opportunity to put his culinary skills to use in the kitchen for the benefit of his loved ones and close friends. Many will remember him for his particular brand of humor, which was predominately composed of dad jokes, as well as for his kind nature. As part of his ongoing commitment to the well-being of the community, William gave blood on a regular basis. He was beaming with pride after just been presented with a plaque in celebration of his 150 contributions, and he had an appointment scheduled for the following week.
