Breanna Johnson Obituary, Death Cause – On Wednesday, a collision that took place early in the morning on West Gate City Boulevard in Greensboro resulted in the death of a woman. Wednesday was the day that the incident took place.
According to the reports that were filed by the Greensboro police department, a collision on Merrit Drive that only involved one vehicle took place around four in the morning. The collision happened in the middle of an intersection.
Breanna Johnson, age 25, and Antwon Meadows, age 31, were reportedly riding as passengers in a 2008 Lexus GS350 that was traveling at a high rate of speed down West Gate City Boulevard, according to the police. Breanna Johnson was driving the vehicle, and Antwon Meadows was the driver.
The police say that the vehicle was traveling at a high rate of speed down West Gate City Boulevard before it left the roadway and collided with two utility poles. The collision occurred after the vehicle had left the roadway. Both Johnson and Meadows were ejected from the Lexus when it flipped over and began to travel through the air; this occurred after the vehicle had already overturned.
Unfortunately, Johnson did not make it, which is a huge letdown According to a statement released by the Greensboro Police Department, “it is not clear who the driver is at this time,” and this statement is accurate. It was reported earlier by the police to WFMY News 2 that the third person riding in the backseat is unharmed, but that another individual sustained serious injuries as a result of the accident.
This information was provided to the police during a previous interview that took place earlier. The investigation has not been wrapped up as of yet, and the Greensboro Crash Reconstruction Unit has been dispatched to the scene.
