Billy McClughen Obituary, Cause OF Death – Billy Eugene “Mac” McClughen, age 79, passed away at Clinton Memorial Hospital on Saturday, March 5, 2023, with his family at his side. He was a resident of Wilmington, Ohio. Bill McClughen was born on June 1, 1943, to James Wilson McClughen and Eula Mae (Blank) McClughen, both of whom passed away before their son’s birth. Both of his parents had left this world by this point.
After moving to Dayton, Ohio from Seaman, Ohio, where he had spent the majority of his boyhood, he began his career as an employee of the Dayton Press, which was based in Dayton. He worked there for the initial portion of his working life. After some time, he moved to Wilmington, where he worked as a janitor for Wilmington City Schools up until the year 2005, when he finally decided to retire.
In the end, he decided to stop working. Bill was a relaxed individual who took enjoyment in the little things in life, such as spending time with his family, attending concerts, and playing sports. He also enjoyed listening to music and watching sports on television. Bill is survived by his wife Donna (Garrison) McClughen, as well as his daughters Hannah Moore, Mary (Joseph) Smith, and Julie (Joseph) Surharski.
As well as his granddaughters Presley Sophia Surharski, Josie Surharski, and Theodore Surharski.
