Billy Kerins Obituary, Cause Of Death A player for John Mitchels in the past named Billy Kerins passed away not too long ago. When residents of Boherbee and those who were involved with the John Mitchels GAA Club heard the news, they were taken aback and felt a deep sense of loss.

During the years 1959 through 1963, Billy was a member of the Boherbee club and played for a period of time with that club. During that time, he was also awarded a county championship medal in 1966, bringing his total number of medals won from that competition to seven.
Billy was also a well-known handball player, and he won two junior All Ireland titles, eighteen masters titles (between the years 1964 and 1983), and one 40*20 Inter Club All Ireland title in 1981. These victories were spread out over the course of his handball career. These victories were accumulated throughout his handball career at various points in time. The Handball All Star Handball Hall of Fame bestowed some kind of award upon Billy in the year 2019, the year that the award was given out.
