Anapaula Huggins Missing – An intensive search for a woman who left her home in Fairhaven to take her dog for a walk and has not returned is now being carried out by emergency services in Fairhaven and from all over the surrounding region. The woman has not been seen since she left her home.
After it was realized that the woman had not returned to her residence, it was determined that she was presumed to be missing. Anapaula Huggins, who is 43 years old and was last seen leaving her house on Raymond Street in the wee hours of Monday morning with the family dog, was reported missing shortly after her departure.
After that time, neither she nor anyone else has seen or heard from her again. Huggins was not located on Monday, in spite of the fact that Fairhaven Animal Control discovered the dog at approximately 9:30 in the morning on that day, and despite the fact that Huggins had been missing since Sunday.
It was said that Huggins’ relatives made contact with the authorities at approximately 11:30 in the morning to report that she had vanished. It was around 7:30 in the morning on Monday when Huggins was purportedly seen on video surveillance for the last time near Pope Beach.
This site is relatively near to the intersection of Manhattan Avenue and Bayview Avenue. Bayview Avenue runs roughly parallel to Manhattan Avenue. An extensive search effort is reportedly being conducted at this time by the authorities in Fairhaven, which also includes the participation of the police department, the fire department, and the harbormaster.
A drone unit, a search team, and a K-9 unit from numerous local law enforcement agencies are also assisting in the search. Moreover, the Southeastern Massachusetts Law Enforcement Council is providing assistance to the search through their search team.
Scanners have picked up what appear to be staff on boats conducting a search of the area around Butler Flats in the New Bedford/Fairhaven Harbor. These stories, on the other hand, have not been independently verified by a third party.
