Alvin Vangilder Obituary, Cause Of Death – It has come to the notice of the Mohawks and the Piggott School District that Mr. Alvin Vangilder, who was formerly one of our most revered and renowned instructors, has gone away. The terrible news has brought quite a lot of emotion.
Anyone who was one of his students at Piggott School during the period that he taught science there should consider themselves to have been incredibly fortunate to have had him as a teacher. He was one of those teachers who made learning fun and interesting. Both in and out of the classroom, he was a phenomenally effective educator.
A man of integrity and a trailblazer in life.
He showed genuine concern for each and every one of his pupils and made certain that the morals and ethics he inculcated in them were put into action in each and every one of the subjects they were required to study. In addition to being an excellent educator for a great number of individuals, he was also, and perhaps even more significantly, an outstanding friend to a large number of others.
Both of these aspects of his character earned him a great deal of esteem among his peers. A model employee that deserves the best possible rating because of their hard work and dedication. A man of god who is also spiritual and has compassion toward all those who are in need of assistance and has a kind heart toward those in need.
We are all going to miss Mr. Vangilder’s hilarious and insightful views, as well as his devotion to growing better individuals in each and every one of the children who were fortunate enough to be in his classroom. We are all going to miss Mr. Vangilder.
