Aisha Haskins Obituary, Death Cause – You know how there are certain people who are larger than life, and as a result, you can never be sure of the approach that they will take to life? It wasn’t typical of Ish at all. Ish did not appear to be LARGER than life. She was the perfect amount.
She was sufficient for each and every day. Very few people are able to enjoy every moment of every day while also being fully present in the here and now. It was typical of Ish. Ish made the most out of EVERY single day. And one may easily warm up to her.
It appeared as though she was friends with everyone. Ish was the real deal. You will receive the same thing that you saw. She was like a book that anyone could read and was willing to reveal a great deal of herself in an honest and forthright manner. And she was PASSIONATE!
Ish was crazy about Nene. Anything that could help and benefit her, she would do. They were more closely related to one another than identical twins who were produced in the same womb. She LOVED her sister, Nene. And Nene adored her in precisely the same way. I’m really sorry to bother you.
You were well aware of Ish’s affection for you if he did. She did not attempt to conceal it. She would give you the warmest hug that only she could muster and beam at you with the widest smile that only she could muster. And she was able to have conversations with ANYONE about ANY TOPIC! She never lacked the ability to articulate her thoughts.
And everybody who engaged with her was given the impression that they were significant enough to be included. It was Ish’s way of dealing with other people. Because she always made the most of the present, she inspired and encouraged other people to do the same. I tried to make the most of every moment by living in the present.
Ish made life fun! She could find amusement in any situation. She lived her life as if each day were a special occasion, and she did the same. She faced each day with self-assurance, seizing each moment by its own reins and persevering till the dawn of the following day.
If she had a thought, you could bet that she would put it into action and make it a reality. When she committed to doing anything, she followed through on her word. Noone could tell her that she couldn’t live out her dreams or that something was too hard.
Ish was my pal. She was my previous Co-worker. She was a loving god-mother, step mother, dog mother, adoptive mother, sister, best friend, right hand… she was a great woman. And it crushes my heart to write about her in the past tense, because…
This shouldnt’t have been the conclusion to her narrative. There is so much more that was in store for her…
